Manasi Scott collaborates with Mika Singh, Palash Sen

MUMBAI: After taking a hiatus from independent releases and focusing on bollywood music, Indi-pop singer Manasi Scott is all set to release a host of musical offerings on different platforms within the next two months.

The singer is all set to release a Hindi untitled album sung and composed by her which also features collaborations with singers like Ishq Bector, Palash Sen and Mika Singh amongst others. The singer is adopting the current trend of digital releases and has already unveiled some tracks on ArtistAloud.com and is promoting them through live concerts. Untitled as of yet, Scott will release the album through YouTube as the space for independent music in television does not seem to improve in the long run.

Speaking to Radioandmusic.com about the album, Scott says, "I have composed and sung for this album which also has tracks by Ishq Bector, Palash Sen and Mika. It was ready from quite sometime and I was holding on to it as the television space for independent music was not good. But since it does not seem to be improving, I will be launching it through YouTube and will promote it through live concerts. But another factor that's still holding back the release is if it should be released individually as single tracks or an album as a whole considering the collaborations."

Apart from the album and a string of bollywood projects, she is also currently working on a dub step soundtrack with internationally acclaimed DJ Mr Doss for which she has penned some tracks. The compositions will be unveiled sometime next year.
