Mammoth retro video hits compilation from Shemaroo
MUMBAI: Shemaroo has released a mammoth compilation of retro video hits for lovers of the timeless classics of film music traversing both, the black-and-white and colour eras of Bollywood. The 12-DVD pack, called, simply, Golden Collection, showcases popular solos and duets of five of the pillars of Hindi film music – Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd. Rafi, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, and Mukesh in its �main event,' while a special exclusive DVD features rare gems of the inimitable Geeta Dutt, Hemant Kumar, Talat Mehmood and Shamsad Begum.
Together, the entire compilation covers a wide range of songs. Shemaroo is apparently targeting the Diwali season – with its premium packaging and a price of Rs 999, the Golden Collection could make a memorable gift for music lovers.
