MUMBAI:  When music industry considers versatility as the key to a successful career there is this music maestro AR Rahman who feels that being associated with a style of music is fine. While most of the Bollywood music composers are experimenting with different style and genres, Rahman’s style has pretty much been the same but has clicked widely among the audiences around the world.

While shooting for Coke Studio@MTV, AR Rahman talks to reporters about shares views on various music composers and their works their amazing contribution. “Amit Trivedi and Pritam - the work they are doing is good. I wonder what I am going to do since these guys are so good,” said Academy winner musician.

When asked his opinion on the style of music followed by an artiste, he said, “When I started off with my career in the music industry I wanted to make a statement and get away. But the support I received was positive.  Then, I felt the need to focus on independent sound. It is good to stick to something that represents you.”
