Live From the Console to feature Bramfatura, Dualist Inquiry and NushLewis

MUMBAI: Live From the Console will feature performances by Bramfatura (Electronica), Dualist Inquiry (Rock Influenced Electronica) and NushLewis (Harpist) in its eighth edition to be held on 21 January 2012 at the Recording Theatre, Mehboob Studio.

In this edition, the Console for the first time will not be featuring any documentary.

Bramfatura is a collaborative music duo of Mark Fulgado and Gaurav Godkhindi from Mumbai. Working alongside favored session musicians and vocalists, they make records and tour live and are currently recording and touring with independent singer/songwriter Cherry Fernandes.

Dualist Inquiry is the brainchild and solo project of Sahej Bakshi, a producer, guitarist and cerebral agent who graduated from the Thornton Music School at USC in Los Angeles, CA. Most recently, Dualist Inquiry performed at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton UK, opening for international sensation Beardyman and hip-hop legend DJ Shadow at the world famous Brighton Dome.

Nush Lewis is a contemporary Indian harpist trained at the KM Music Conservatory in Chennai. With three self-produced bedroom' singles in the form of Blue Nails, Bright Orange Tea Cups and the appraised Shaai'r + Func mash-cover of Freeze You/ My Roots , her music is dominated by a feeling of darkness and surrealism. Having recently contributed to Sidd Coutto's solo album, she is now planning on bring out a five track EP and will collaborate with artistes of various genres.

Live from the Console is a collaborative effort between Day 1 - a Sony Music Independent and Oranjuice Entertainment.
