Leo Burnett's Baby Rap jingle makes it to NYF finalists

MUMBAI: Leo Burnett's jingle 'Baby Rap' is the lone Indian finalist entry in this year's New York Festivals' Radio Programming and Promotions Awards.

The campaign for Lingo India, has been shortlisted in the Business Products/ services category.

Germany leads the pack in the finalists just announced, with a total of 21 entries. The US follows with 16 entries. The NYF awards will be held in .

There are 34 categories into which the shortlisted entries have been sorted, apart from six special categories like Best Use of Medium,  Direct Response,  Gay/Lesbian Advertising, Olympic Theme/Sponsorship, Political Advertisements and Station Produced.

This year, Radio City executive vice president Rana Barua, Radio One national programming director Vehrnon Ibrahim and Big FM vice president programming Nirupam Sonu were called by the NYF to judge some of the categories.
