Lata Mangeshkar sings after a long gap

MUMBAI: Lata Mangeshkar's divine voice was last heard in Madhur Bhandarkar's Jail - the music for which was composed by Shamir Tondon.

That was a year ago. Now the most sought after singer has agreed to sing for a commercial track in Sunjay Sharma's Dunno Y.. Na Jaane Kyun. And going by the film's name, one assumes it would be something 'hip.'

Mangeshkar is believed to have taken a self imposed break from commercial film songs, so it's certainly special when she agrees to sing.

Kapil Sharma who is the actor and writer of the film still can't believe his dream of Lataji singing for his film has come true. "As if it was destined, when Lataji heard the composition she liked it so much that she agreed immediately," he said.

The music for the film is composed by Nikhil. Now, lets wait for the song..
