MUMBAI: In honour of his late father legendary violinist V Lakshminarayana, L Subramaniam is back with the 20th edition of Margazhi concert �Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival 2012'.

The concert commenced from 7 January in Bangalore will take place across seven cities including Chennai (9 Jan), Ahmedabad (11 Jan), Mumbai (13 Jan), Pune (14 Jan), Trivandrum (15 Jan) and Kotlam (16 Jan).

In its 20th year, the event will feature world musicians Solo Cissokho (kora), Miya Masaokha (koto), Dhafer Youssef (oud), Kavita Krishnamurthi Subramaniam, Narayana (vocalist), L Subramaniam's daughter Bindu and son Ambi.

Speaking on the fest with Radioandmusic.com, Kavita Krishnamurthy said, For the LGMF the world is truly its stage and music is the only true way of sharing love and peace with everyone....

The closing act will witness the special composition performed by the artistes for the concert.
