Lady Gaga joins Queen and Adam Lambert in Australia for surprise performance

MUMBAI: Australian fans attending the Queen and Adam Lambert gig on Wednesday got a little more than they hoped for when pop superstar Lady Gaga popped up to put on a surprise performance at Sydney's Allphones Arena. The 'Judas' singer took to the stage with the iconic British band's current frontman Adam Lambert to perform one of Queen's most popular tracks 'Another One Bites the Dust'.

Wearing a black, slightly revealing bejewelled jumpsuit with stilettos, the 29 year old singer made sure she looked the rocker part. However, she did add a little of her quirky style to it by wearing a rather large, curly black wig.

The joint performance lasted only one song, and although Lambert performed another popular Queen track- 'Radio Gaga', which inspired the pop star's stage name, she watched it from the crowd.

Gaga was no doubt excited about performing with Queen, and shared it with her millions of Twitter followers stating, "I just played with Queen I'm the happiest girl alive! #QAL". Lambert took to Instagram as well to post a number of photos of him and "Mother Monster". Surprisingly, even the legendary Queen guitarist Brian May got in on the social media action, posting a picture on Twitter with the caption, "My stick selfie of the day - with our lovely guest Lady Gaga XXX."

The 'Born this Way' singer is currently on the Australian leg of her 'artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball' tour and will be headlining the same venue this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Lambert, who is a former American Idol contestant, is touring Australia with Queen until 1 September. The tour will then move to New Zealand for concerts on 3 and 4 September, wrapping up in Auckland's Vector Arena.
