LA metal band 'Distorted Fate' to perform at benefit concert 'Metal Bash'

MUMBAI: LA metal band 'Distorted Fate' has confirmed to perform at a metal/hard rock benefit show Metal Bash' for Japan earthquake and tsunami victims on 18th June 2011 at Simi Valley, California.

The band members are Drummer Brian Banner and guitarist Bob Spears, vocalist Mike Weinberg and Aaron Cross. Prior to Metal Bash, the hard rock quartet will play with The Iron Maidens on 4th June at Paladino's, 6101 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana.

The band's recent released CD 'Haunting' has received some good reviews from the hard rock media. Talking about the band, U.K.-based rock 'n' metal magazine Metaville said, "Yet today we still get a few speed metal machines form the sunshine state and while most of them have turned out to be so-so imitations that just wanted to remind us the scene ever existed, one or two actually come at us with their complete heart for it intact. Distorted Fate's style sets the clocks back to the good old days but with genuine intent - they're every piece as old-school as the great names of the time and do them the justice their believers hope to see."

Distorted Fate is currently nominated for...Best Band in the US" by Radiobuzzd.
