MUMBAI: With over 10 million hits on YouTube, internet phenomenon Kolaveri has surpassed all previous benchmarks and become popular in a very short span of time. Techzone, content technology providers in the telecom industry states that the song has generated huge revenues and the telecom industry is very happy with the response they have received for mobile downloads.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, Techzone director Naveen Bhandari said, Kolaveri has generated huge revenues and has become a success for Techzone and the telecom industry. Kolaveri has become a revival of the full time CRBT market. Out of the total bollywood download market regional content is 25%, but with Kolaveri Di we have achieved 40% of the market....

"I am glad to be associated with Sony and Kolaveri as a mega success project and to value add to their endeavour to make this song a success across mobile platforms. Content now has started getting due recognition much like it happens in the international music market scenario,... Bhandari added.

Bhandari averred that the details about the revenues could be revealed only after the month.

Techzone has deployed the content through its entire distribution network which includes telecom operators in all the region It offers full length music tracks, videos, mobile wallpapers, ringtones, caller ring back tones and other digital entertainment formats.

The song was uploaded on the video-sharing website by the makers less than two weeks ago, and �soup' people are already wondering what to expect next from the track that is part of the OST of Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwarya's directorial debut— a Tamil film called 3, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and written-sung by south-star Dhanush, who also features in the film.
