KKBOX launches cloud music platform in Japan

MUMBAI: KKBOX Inc., Taiwan's online music service provider will be launching cloud music platform on mobile with Japan's telecom - KDDI in mid-June.

KDDI will launch an on-demand, unlimited music streaming service on its android-based smartphones. The music subscription service will carry the brand of �LISMO' unlimited.

Both the companies have collaborated with RecoChoku - Japan's music contents provider, for its music licensing and content.

KKBOX CEO Chris Lin said, Cloud music is the up-rising trend in digital music industry, and KKBOX's cloud-music technology and service operation experience will turbo-charge KDDI's LISMO unlimited service on smartphone with the best user experience.
