MUMBAI: Renowned singer Karsh Kale will headline an act at the second edition of ‘W.E. Rock Concert for Women’s Empowerment.’ The charity concert will be held on 7 March at Hard Rock Café in Mumbai.

The concert will also feature other well-known singers such as Shilpa Rao, Shruti Pathak, Apeksha Dandekar, Monali Thakur and jazz singer Shefali Alvares along with actor Sarah Jane Dias who will sing live for the first time. The event will be hosted by Rockstar lead actress ‘Nargis Fakhri.’

The concert is organized by Nokia Lumia and KWAN in association with MTV, Radio One, and Hard Rock Café.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to aid Akshara’s Empowering Dreams Program for educating 100 underprivileged girls in Mumbai. Akshara Center is an NGO dedicated to empower and educate women in India.
