Kailash Kher is ambassador for Nepal Tourism

NEW DELHI: Singer Kailash Kher, who is known for his Sufi, folk songs and also a part of band Kailasa, is chosen as the Honorary Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal Tourism 2011.

Kher is expected to enhance the tourism image of Nepal internationally and augment the tourism of Nepal at national and international level.

After Everest summiteers Sir Edmund Hillary who climbed Mount Everest with Tenzing Norgay in 1953 and died in 2008, Kher is the only other personality who has been chosen as Honorary Ambassador for Nepal Tourism.

Kailash Kher said, This is a great responsibility and I would do my best and give justice to this responsibility.
