MUMBAI: TV Today Network CEO Joy Chakraborthy who also headed its radio brand Oye! 104.8 FM, has put in his papers after serving the company for a short period of seven months.

Confirming the news with Radioandmusic.com, Chakraborthy said that he had decided to move on because of personal reasons.

Chakraborthy had joined TV Today Network in December last year, and prior to that he was with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.

Oye FM, TV Today Network’s FM radio division, operates across seven cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Amritsar, Jodhpur, Patiala and Shimla.

In the last one year the network has witnessed a lot of management shifts. TV Today Network chief executive officer and executive director G Krishnan, who served for 16 long years, ended his stint on 1 September last year. Four months back the network had appointed Gargi Kaul as the general manager - business head for its radio station, and in May 2012 national programming head Vehrnon Ibrahim quit after serving the FM company for over two years.
