MUMBAI: Bollywood playback singer Jaspinder Narula has lent her voice for the title track of new Zee TV serial ‘Rab Se Sona Ishq’. The serial, being produced by Jay Mehta, is a cross-continental love story and is being shot in Punjab as well as London.

The track was recorded today. Narula, while talking about the song, said “It was wonderful recording the song. But it is not for the first time that I am rendering for a serial. I have sung the title tracks of Maayka, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, Yes Boss, Aashirwaad, Milan, along with many other serials.”

Three years back, Narula did Ph. D. in Hindustani classical music from Delhi University. “I always wanted to enhance myself in music. It also adds a feather in your cap and makes you stand out in the crowd,” she said.

Talking about the current music scene in India, she said “Music has gone through a lot of changes over the years. When I started, we used to sing with live orchestra and there used to be lot of Indian instruments. But times have changed now. New techniques have come; new composers have entered the business. Hence, we are seeing a very different kind of music now.”
