It was fun rendering for Sunny Deol: Tochi Raina

MUMBAI: After all the 'Khalbali' in 3G, sufi singer Tochi Raina will be heard in Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru's 'I Love NY'. His track 'Gud Naal Ishq Mitha' is used as a promotional video for the film.

"The dance number is the remix of the old 'Gud Naal Ishq Mitha' but this track has received new treatment with the sound and my voice that doesn't allow fans to remember the old one. The new treatment in my voice is the result of my Riyaz of so many years," Raina told Radioandmusic.com.

Composed by Pritam, the song is penned by lyricist Mayur Puri. The film is produced by Bhushan and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. Sukhwinder Singh, Falak Shabbir, Shaan, Tulsi Kumar and Sonu Nigam have also rendered for the music album that consists of five original tracks with remixes.

"People have appreciated the track so far and that makes me really very happy. It was fun rendering for Sunny Deol," he added.

The romantic comedy film starring Sunny Deol and Kangana Ranaut is slated to release on 26 April 2013.

Moreover, Raina is also working in the Punjabi film industry and is doing singles with Ramji Gulati.

Raina has planned to release a Punjabi single every month, the latest being 'Control Nahi Hunda Mera Byah Karalo'. "I had my four music tracks- three film music (3G, Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga and I Love NY) and a single with Gulati released in a span of two months which was really liked by my fans," he added.

He has sung around 20-25 tracks already this year for bollywood and non-film music and hopes that many of them will be out soon.
