Intex Mobiles' caravan campaign to cover 14 states in 2 months

MUMBAI: Intex  is targeting handset consumers and channel partners with a 14-state caravan campaign, Intex Mobiles on Wheels, which will see 26 caravans traversing through 400 towns across 14 states over a period of two months, visiting the popular mobile phone markets in the regions. The states covered are Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana in the north, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand in the east, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in west- and central India, and Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh in the south.

Shailendra Jha, DGM-Telecom, Intex Technologies, said, It is our biggest BTL (Below The Line) campaign. The activity is focused on stimulating secondary and tertiary sales and to explore new business associates to enhance the reach of Intex Mobile handsets. It will also support our mobile phone channel base as the activity will finally connect prospective consumers to our retail outlets....

The team on the caravans will promote brand awareness amongst potential consumers and channel partners, provide them hands-on experience and will also strive to build relationship through dissemination of information (via various collaterals like leaflets, posters, balloons, key-chains, etc.) Intex's recently launched mobile handsets – V.SHOW (Dual SIM mobile phone with in-built projector), V.DO (dual SIM video phone) and IN 4470 N (dual SIM phone with face to face chat facility) are some of the models which will be promoted through this activity.
