MUMBAI: The new retro promo of the musical reality show Indian Idol Junior was telecasted last night on Sony TV.

Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani who will be judging the show are very excited about the show and have adapted the retro avatar for the promo.

As per sources, the channel has closed on four promos in total out of which two have been telecasted. One of them will be a contemporary one while the other will reflect the ‘50s and 60s’ era. The promos are created in a way that kids can sing and get associated. Currently the selection process is going on for the final contestants and the shooting for all the promos is completed.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com about the show, Ghoshal says, “The opportunity given through the show has allowed the talented kids to turn out in large numbers. It is not the judges who define the show but the kids who are participating. They all are so super-talented and spectacular that it will be tough job for us as we will have to break our heads.”

The judges are more chilled about the show and are seen enjoying their company. Pet names of the trio will be disclosed once the show goes on-air.

The time slot is yet to be finalized for the show that will be telecasted on 1 June.
