MUMBAI: Music composer and judge of music reality show, Indian Idol Salim Merchant has shortlisted a contestant from the show to sing for an upcoming project by the musical duo Salim- Suleiman.
The composer who was in the Pinkcity to perform along with Indian Idol contestants Bhoomi Trivedi, Naushad, Rakesh, Swaroop Khan and Tia told PTI, I have chosen a contestant and discussed it with the production house, and will start shooting after this show, It does not matter where the contestant stands in the Indian Idol show....
Merchant however maintained suspense over the contestant's name.
"I will not disclose the name at the moment as it may lower the moral of other contestants," he said.
