MUMBAI: Known for encouraging Indian classical musical talent, Idea Jalsa for the first time will showcase International artiste on its New Year special. Recognizing rich Indian musicial heritage, these artistes are the disciples of Hindustani doyens  Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia.

The three international artistes Takahiro (Japan), Saskia Rao Dehas (Netherlands) and Stephanie Bosch (Germany) will play Indian classical instruments like Santoor, the Viola and Flute.

Speaking on the performance Takahiro said, "I am grateful to �Idea Jalsa – Music for the Soul' which is playing a crucial role by giving a platform to upcoming and deserving professional musicians like Saskia Rao, Stephanie Bosch and myself....

Idea Jalsa is produced and hosted by Durga Jasraj along with Annu Kapoor. The New Year special will be aired on Zee TV at 10.30am with repeat on 11.30pm.
