Hungama Digital launches Satyamev Jayate app

MUMBAI: Taking show promotions to the next level, Hungama Digital has launched an application for Aamir Khan’s television show Satyamev Jayate.

At present, the application is available for iTunes and works on Ipods, Iphone and Ipads. The app allows users to stream songs, watch videos and share it on social networking sites. The app is updated after every episode of the show with the new song and video.

Ram Sampath and Aamir Khan have composed special numbers for all the 13 episodes which are digitally released every week on Hungama and across all mobile operators as the series proceeds. The title song composed by Sampath, penned by Prasoon Joshi and sung by Keerthi Sagathia is already available on the website.

Within a couple of days of launch, the app is the No 1 in the "entertainment category" and No 3 in the "Top 25" of all the apps on the app store for iphone, states the release.

The app is free on iOS devices but download of songs and videos are charged at Rs 110 approximately. The app will soon launch on the Android.

The songs from the music album of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ will be released digitally every week on the portal.
