MUMBAI:  Fever FM, the radio arm of HT Media, has appointed Prateek Chandra as chief financial officer.

In his new role, Chandra will be part of the leadership team of Fever FM, and shed responsibility of finance and related operational aspects of the business.  He will report to  Fever 104 FM business head- radio and entertainment Harshad Jain with functional reporting to Piyush Gupta, Group CFO.

Chandra will replace Ritesh Handa, who served the company for 18 months and has now decided to move on to pursue other opportunities.

Prior to this appointment, Chandra was senior financial strategist at HT media. He has spent more than four years with the HT group.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, Jain said, “Prateek has been a part of HT family for a couple of years now and Fever is not new to him, he has been intimately involved in the finance function for the company and now takes over the responsibility as the CFO for Fever. I am happy to have him on board and feel that he has come in at just the right time. His domain expertise in Finance and Business Strategy is bound to add immense value to the existing system.”
