History Rocks pays tribute to Woodstock generation

MUMBAI: Fox History & Entertainment organised a concert as part of the on-ground initiative to promote the fifth season of their show History Rocks.

The theme was Woodstock Generation, with rock artist Ravi Iyer and his band paying an ode to rock legends.

The History Rocks concerts are organised by the channel in five cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore on 21 April and Hyderabad and Pune on 28 April at Hard Rock Caf?© as venue partners in these cities.

Fox International Channels VP marketing Debarpita Banerjee said, Since History Rocks is a unique blend of concerts, documentaries, and the stories of classic rock legends, we were eager to bring together music fans of the Woodstock generation with their favourite rock bands. While Ravi Iyer and his band performed in Mumbai, Galeej Gurus and Parikrama, rocked Bangalore and New Delhi respectively....

The 10-part series of History Rocks, started on 2 April, allows a peek into the lives of rock legends of this generation and their biggest concerts. This time the series offers the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
