MUMBAI: Delhi based rock ‘n’ roll band ‘Half Step Down’ are all set to groove on 12 April at Hard Rock Café . The band will perform on some of their popular tracks commonly acknowledged as a ‘versatile mish-mash’.

The five-piece band comprises of Dhaval Mudgal (Vocalist), Srijan Mahajan (Drums), Shiv Lumba (Keyboards), Karan Dutta (Guitar) and Carl Abraham (Bass).

Known for their antics on stage, the band incorporates elements of the blues, alt-rock, funk and reggae, deriving influence from Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Dave Matthews, Marley and Django Reinhardt.

Formed in 2005, the band made it big after performing at ‘The Great Indian Rockshow’. Their track ‘Overture to Outerspace’ garnered them popularity and launched them on a wider platform. They also appeared on Channel V’s show ‘Launchpad’ in 2007.
