Haber scores record sales for Grammys

MUMBAI: With a record 13 international broadcasters covering the show live on site in Los Angeles, and nine prominently placed on the red carpet, Alfred Haber, President of Alfred Haber, Inc. (AHI) announced on Monday that the company scored record sales with the recent airings in 193 territories of the 53rd Annual GRAMMY® Awards extravaganza that continues to be the world?s most popular televised music event.

Having successfully represented the Grammy Awards for the past 22 years, recent sales secured by AHI for this past February?s show included: STAR (Asia), Shanghai Media Group (China), Channel One (Russia), Foxtel (Australia), NRJ12 (France), MNET (Africa), Telemundo (Puerto Rico), City TV (Colombia), TV2 (Denmark), YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway), and NonStop Television (Scandinavia). Some of the other major broadcasters previously announced were ITV2 (United Kingdom), ProSieben (Germany), Turner (Latin America), Televisa (Mexico), WOWOW (Japan), Global TV (Canada), and Kanal 5 (Sweden).

In a night of surprises and upsets, the 53rd Grammy Awards featured over 25 stars in 16 show-stopping performances by such top artists as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Usher, Lady Antebellum, Bob Dylan, Arcade Fire, Bruno Mars, B.o.B, Eminem, Rihanna, Barbra Streisand, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Drake, Miranda Lambert and Mick Jagger, among others.
