Fever FM's Anuraag Pandey leads walk to Siddhivinayak to pray for India win

MUMBAI: Even as the very public expression of good wishes for the Indian cricket team for its Cricket World Cup semi final clash with Pakistan gets shriller by the minute, popular Fever 104 FM RJ Anuraag Pandey is adding to the fervour with a walk on Tuesday evening -- the eve of the mother of all cricket clashes -- to Siddhivinayak Temple, Dadar, to strengthen his network's on-air support of and cheering for the Indian Cricket Team, with a prayer to Lord Ganesh.

Fever 104 FM has declared as fervently and shrilly as every other Radio station and network, that it will go all out to support Team India Jee Jaan Se as part of the ongoing One Day Akraman campaign. It is a famous belief that if you walk barefoot to Siddhivinayak Temple on a Tuesday, Ganpati Bappa fulfils your wishes,... RJ Pandey told RadioAndMusic.com, adding, I am a firm believer in the power of Lord Ganesh and worship Him dutifully. Being a staunch believer in the power of Bappa Morya, I decided to dedicate a walk from the Fever 104 FM studio for Sachin and the Indian Cricket Team to seek Ganpati Bappa's blessings. My listeners called up and wanted to walk along with me for this cause. This comes from the heart,... Pandey said.

Dharmesh, the first caller on Tuesday morning's  show, says, I am very happy to join RJ Anuraag Pandey for this walk. I wanted to do something special but did not know what exactly I could do. This was the best way for me to show my support and devotion for Team India. I would like to thank Fever 104 FM for organizing such an inspiring event and for making it possible for the Aam Janta to be a part of the walk....
