Eminem tops Billboard Chart with 'Hell: The Sequel'

MUMBAI: Superstar hip-hop artist Eminem, has landed at no. 1 spot for the second time within 12 months with Hell: The Sequel, having sold 171,000 albums, earlier Eminem 'Recovery' had spawned the charts.

For the first time in the last five years an artist has topped no. 1 position twice in a year. The album debuted at no. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart (Eminem's sixth album to do so), as well on as the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Albums charts, marking the beginning of a triumphant comeback for the artist.

Hell: The Sequel consits of two tracks Fast Lane... and Lighters... featuring Royce Da 5'9 and Eminem together. video for Fast Lane... has racked up more than 6.2 million views on VEVO.

The best-selling album of 2010 in the US and the best-selling digital album of all-time, Recovery has now sold more than 5.7 million copies worldwide, propelled by its No. 1 singles Not Afraid... (which earned Eminem a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance... and two MTV Video Music Awards, and has sold more than 3.4 million downloads in the US).
