'Duniyadari' musician creates another hit with 'Pyaar Vali Love Story'

MUMBAI: Following the success of 'Duniyadari', director Sanjay Jadhav aims recreate the magic by roping the same music team for his upcoming film, 'Pyaar Vali Love Story'. For his last film, Jadhav had teamed up with the musicians like Pankaj Padghan, Amit Raj and Samir Saptiskar. Jadhav has used the same tactic for 'Pyaar Vali Love Story'. He asked the three musicians to compose a couple of tracks for the film's soundtrack.

Samir Saptiskar is also a band member of SAY, a Marathi music band famous for scoring 'Tik Tik' in Duniyadari. The hit song was sung by multiple award winning singers like Sonu Nigam and Sayali Pankaj. For three-song soundtrack of 'Pyaar Vali Love Story', Saptiskar composed one song called 'Aali Lahar'. The song features vocals by Ajit Parab and Sayali Pankaj.

Talking about the song, Saptiskar said, "The director pitched that the song would introduce the main protagonist of the film. Keeping that in mind and incorporating that, we devised a composition best suited for the situation. The song is very up-beat, peppy and catchy in nature.” The song also marks the first time Pankaj singing an up-tempo number, since more than often she is heard lending vocals to soft romantic songs.

In addition to 'Pyaar Vali Love Story', Saptiskar is also working on other Marathi film sviz, 'Dhinchak Enterprises', 'Ghanta' and 'Jhiprya'.
