Dr. Dinesh Keskar this week on Radio One`s `Ek Mulakat`

MUMBAI: After having interviewed famous film stars, sports personalities and politicians, Radio One FM 94.3`s award winning show, BBC Ek Mulakat now has an exclusive t?te- -t?te with the super star from the corporate world - Dr. Dinesh Keskar, Sr. VP, Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

In the past thirteen years, Dr. Dinesh Keskar has made sure that only his company`s aircrafts are sold in this market. He is one of the most powerful Indians living in America he is probably the only Indian whose PhD (Aerospace Engineering) is signed by Neil Armstrong. He also had the honour of having Neil Armstrong as his guide while working on the thesis.

Sanjeev Srivastava takes us through a quick journey into the life of this powerful individual who is today, among the top 25 people at Boeing, and there are 170,000 working at Boeing. Dr. Keskar explains how Indians are highly respected in US today and how he struggled at a point of time to believe in himself in his initial days at Boeing.

Explaining the same he said, "Believe in yourself. When I went to work at Boeing, Indian already working there said to me - don`t expect to rise much here. I believed them for the first three years, but in my fourth year, when I was selected for a programme, I thought that even if this is true, I will test it". Dr. Keskar was instrumental in the $11.5 billion deal with Air India in 2005, which has been the biggest ever till date for Boeing.

An ardent lover of flowers and Indian music, Dr. Dinesh Keskar enjoys songs from the past and also appreciates Marathi theatre. He is also a Bollywood movie buff and names a few of his recent likes in movies namely, Devdas and Bunty aur Bubli.
