MUMBAI: The Digital Asia Festival, incorporating the well-established Digital Media Awards has called for entries and delegate registrations to award the best in Asia’s digital marketing industry. The fest will be held on 7-8 November at the Grand Millennium hotel in Beijing, China.

Currently in its sixth year, the annual awards recognise digital marketers and their agencies for outstanding work in categories like media, entertainment, apps, gaming, online PR and online marketing. This year, the entries will be judged by an independent jury consisting of leading client marketers, digital media practitioners and agency strategists. The judging criteria will be based on strategy, creativity and innovation, execution and results. The deadline for submitting the entries is 31 August 2012.

The two-day event will also provide a platform for learning with a compelling content programme and networking amongst clients, agencies, media owners, production and design companies.

Digital Asia Festival director Myriam Coupard said, “At a time when digital expertise has never been more important, the Digital Asia Festival not only offers clients, agencies and media owners the chance to display and celebrate their best digital offerings, but also learn from industry leaders about the current trends and developments in digital communications and network with like-minded people.”

The awards received over 800 entries from 16 countries in 2011. The fest, organised by Lions Festivals and Haymarket Media Asia presents seminars, digital showcases, networking and awards as a platform for brands and the online community to reach into new media and markets.
