MUMBAI: BAG Films' radio venture Dhamaal 24 has posted revenues of Rs 12.16 million for the quarter ended 30 September 2009.

While the revenue in the quarter just ended registers a fall of 19 per cent, as against Rs 15 million revenues recorded in the corresponding period last fiscal. Quarter on quarter, the revenue has grown from Rs 6.43 million for the quarter ended 30 June to Rs 12.16 million for the quarter ended 30 September 2009, a growth  of 90 per cent showing an upward curve for the current fiscal, the company says.

The parent company has reported second quarter fiscal 2010 consolidated revenues at Rs 205.52 million as against Rs 136 million in the first quarter this fiscal  Says BAG Films managing director Anurradha Prasad, "We are glad that our broadcasting initiatives have consistently shown growth in revenues and the losses have been substantially controlled thereby hoping to achieve the operational breakeven much earlier than broadcasting industry standard."
