Delhi HC asks Zee to deposit amount in case against T-Series

MUMBAI: In its recent interim order, Delhi High Court has pulled up Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (Zeel) in the case pertaining to usage of T-Series music content without a valid licence.

The music company T-series had filed a suit against Zee, asking for permanent injunction and damages against infringement of its copyright. In the suit, T-Series was demanding for an interim injunction, alleging Zee for using its copyright content without a valid licence.

T-Series said in a statement that the Delhi High Court has ordered Zee to pay an amount, running into several crores in favour of T-series..., as an interim measure.

T-series was represented by senior advocate Dushant Dave while Zee was represented by senior advocate Harish Salve and Pratibha M Singh. Click here to read more..
