DDB Mudra makes it to One Show radio shortlist

MUMBAI: Only one Indian  entry has made it to the finalists of the Radio Category at the ongoing One Show 2009 advertising awards, being held in New York.

DDB Mudra's entry titled 'Bush' for the Islamic Research Foundation has made it to shortlist of the Radio public service single category.

The One Show features and celebrates the year's best work in print, television, radio, outdoor, innovative media and marketing, and integrated branding  The big awards, the Pencil winners, will be announced at the One Show Awards ceremony on 6 May.

Saatchi & Saatchi New York has managed the most number of shortlisted entries in the radio category - for its campaigns for its clients, Stuffit and Head and Shoulders.

Those competing with DDB Mudra in the Radio public service single category include UK's Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO for its entry 'Last Will' for Tower Hamlets, Grey South Africa for 'Shark Attack' for Shark Life and Israel's Shalmor Avnon Amichay/Y&R for 'Doubt' for the Aids Task Force.

The remaining two days of the week long One Show will comprise industry conferences.
