Mumbai: Wellknown RnB / pop producer David Anthony has forayed into Indian pop by collaborating with Indian pop artist Reenie for a full Hindi album.

Reenie's debut album was released in December 2007 on Saregama, and Reenie was voted as the highest female pop singer at the 'Global Artist of the Year 2007'.David Anthony, based in New York, has pioneered the commercial RnB sound by working on albums / singles for international artistes such as Janet Jackson, Blackstreet, Busta Rhymes and Aliyaah. He has produced videos like Prodigy and Time Machine. Reenie's album is the first full Hindi album created by an Indian artiste in collaboration with an international act, making it a first of its kind.

Reenie was voted as the highest placed female Hindi artiste in 'Desihits' at the "Global Artist of the Year 2007" poll. The poll was voted for by 'Desihits' Worldwide database of over 50 Million names from 60 countries. Desihits is now widely recognised as THE Worldwide internet radio station and website for all things related to Indian/Urban music.

Reenie is an Indian singer and songwriter, currently residing in New York.
