Daft Punk former collaborator Romanthony passes away

MUMBAI: DJ-producer-singer Romanthony, best known as the voice behind the 2000 hit 'One More Time' of Daft Punk, passed away at his Austin home earlier this month.

Aged 46, Romanthony's family confirmed that he died from complications of kidney disease but the cause of Romanthony aka Anthony Moore death has yet not been released.

His sister, Mellony Moore wrote on her Facebook, ''My baby brother Romanthony AKA Anthony Moore passed away 7 May 2013 at his home in Austin, Texas. Thank you for your calls and prayers, my brother was a musical genius."

Romanthony's work crossed several genres including house, R&B and Hip hop. This year, he had released the song '2Nite4U' with Kris Menace on his vocal collaboration album ‘Features’. He was popular for his work with French duo Daft Punk as he provided vocals for One More Time and Too Long in their Discovery album.
