MUMBAI: Music of upcoming movie ‘From Sydney With Love’ was unveiled by bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and the starcast of the film in Mumbai yesterday.

The album has been launched under Saga Music label and the tracks have been composed by Sohail Sen. The composer has also lent his voice for the album. “I am not a professional singer. But for a music director, it is very easy to sing his own songs. If some other music director asks me to sing his tune, I will not be that comfortable. Anyhow, my first love is of course composing,” he told Radioandmusic.com.

Speaking about the album Sen said, “It was fantastic working on the sountrack. You will see a lot of variety in the album with an Indian , Arabian and  club song. I have used hip-hop, RnB, Kolkata’s baul and local music from Sydney in the album.”

Sen has also composed for Yashraj’s romantic thriller ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Sharing his experience in the film Sen said, “I got a very good briefing from director Kabir Khan and hence I did not have much of a problem working on the film.” Apart from the movie, Sen has another forthcoming Yashraj project in his kitty.

‘From Sydney With Love’ is a comedy depicting the story of Indian students living in Sydney. The film marks the directorial debut of Pramod Chakravorty’s grandson Prateek, who has also written the story and acted in the film. The film also stars a host of newcomers including Bidita Bag, Sharad Malhotra, Evelyn Sharma, and Karan Sagoo.
