MUMBAI: Clear Channel Radio officials have said that the company's iheartradio application for the Apple iPhone has been downloaded more than one million times.

The iheartradio application allows users to access streaming radio content over the Internet. Clear Channel Radio is programming all the music for this application. Users can access more than 150 of the company's top radio stations.

Media reports say the radio broadcaster is also poised to begin supplying radio Internet content on Research In Motion's BlackBerry device. A beta version of iheartradio is currently available on BlackBerry Pearl, Curve and Bold devices via iheartradio.com.

Clear Channel Radio is also supplying streaming audio content on Verizon Wireless' HUB voice-over-Internet-Protocol home phone system.
