MUMBAI: Chris Brown’s shocking and heart-stopping twitter rant threatening to quit the music industry post the release of his next and last album X scheduled to release on 20 August has surely come in as a huge surprise.

So his tweet goes, “Don't worry mainstream America. After this X album, it'll probably be my last album.” Which was followed by another tweet that said “Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool & over it!” a clear reference to his 2009 assault on his then on-and-off girlfriend Rihanna.

According to reports, Brown's five-year probation for the assault was revoked by a Los Angeles Court after he allegedly rear-ended a woman’s Mercedes Benz  in May. The next court hearing for the hit-and-run is set for Aug. 15, and he will also have to show up to court for a separate probation hearing, a rather dangerous date so close to his album release.
