*Daring Young Divas to control station through the day

MUMBAI: Chennai Live 104.8 FM is celebrating International Women’s Day by keeping an open house and letting its lady listeners take control of the radio station on Tuesday, 8th March, 2011. The station has dedicated this International Women’s Day to its listeners by handing over its microphones to the daring young divas of the city.

Women from various walks of life including professionals from the corporate world, college students, media persons and mother-daughter duos will participate in the initiative. 

Geoffrey G. Thomas, Chief Programming Officer, Chennai Live 104.8 FM, told RadioAndMusic.com, “Every year we come up with various initiatives on International Women’s Day. In our first year, we featured top women from different fields; in the second, we associated women with various colors according to their personalities, and this year, with Daring Young Divas, we have decided to let the women from the city take control of the radio. We are expecting the day to be a huge success.”
