MUMBAI: BSNL has launched a Mobile radio service on subscription for Rs. 25/- per month on an auto renewal basis, through which subscribers can enjoy the Mobile Radio application & listen to their favorite songs/music in just Rs.1/min by dialing 1255533.Launched in coordination with OnMobile, subscribers can pay a fixed amount and enjoy the services at a charge @ Rs.1/min as against the usual premium charges of Rs.5/-min currently charged for mobile subscribers on 12555XX (where XX is service specific code) based services.

BSNL has already launched the subscription based services for the Cricket packs, starting from the World Cup series in March 07 at Rs. 49/- providing subscribers free SMS score alerts & a low charge call in number 1255531 on which subscribers can listen to live commentary at Rs. 1/min only.
