MUMBAI: Pop diva Britney Spears has officially signed a deal with US talent hunt 'The X Factor'. Spears will co-judge the second season along with Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

According to reports, Spears has officially signed Ł9.3 million deal. “The contract is signed. There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on. It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited. She’s ready for this. She can’t wait to sit down next to Simon at the judges’ table and give her best. This is the perfect next stage in her career. Both Britney and Simon are very excited to work together,” as told to E-news.

Another female star is expected to be announced immediately. The two female judges will replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger following their exit after season one last year.
