MUMBAI: Boyband Boyzone is set to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a new tour this year.

Dates for the Irish boy band’s tour which will commence in the later part of the year are expected to be announced soon. Tickets will go on sale on 14 February.

Boyzone previously toured the UK and Ireland to support their latest album ‘Brother’. It was the group`s first tour since the death of former bandmate Stephen Gately in 2009.

The band has sold nearly 20 million copies during their stint from 1993-2000. It had 19 Top 40 singles on the UK charts including 6 No.1 hits.

They made a touring comeback in 2007.

The band has released seven studio albums and four compilation albums and is UK’s second most successful boy band.
