MUMBAI: The year-end results are in and Bon Jovi has again been named the #1 Worldwide Touring Act of 2010, according to Billboard The iconic band has scored the top-grossing spot for the second time in just three years, an achievement that only Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead have earned. Previously, the band's Lost Highway Tour was named the #1 tour of 2008 by Billboard. Nearing three decades of an incredible career, Bon Jovi show no signs of slowing down. Their recent Greatest Hits collection debuted atop charts around the world and the band will continue their series of live dates well into 2011.
Bon Jovi's The Circle Tour,... which began in February 2010, sold out stadiums and arenas around the world to the tune of 1.5 million fans in attendance and grossed more than $146 million The U.S., Canadian, and UK legs of the tour were promoted by AEG Live and included four sold-out shows to inaugurate the New Meadowlands Stadium as well as multiple night stands in cities across the U.S., Canada and the UK, where the band played a 12-night sold-out residency at London's 02 Arena.
