BIG FM appoints Sahjwani as National Programming Director

MUMBAI: BIG FM has announced the appointment of Sunil Sahjwani as National Programming Director to lead its creative team across 45 stations in India. Sahjwani will work with Soumen Choudhury, Business Head, BIG FM.

Sahjwani said, Radio is just a theatre of the mind and sound has no boundaries. There are tremendous opportunities and much potential that is yet to be tapped. My endeavour is to ensure listeners and the industry give Radio the true glory it deserves....

Sahjwani is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, New York, and has worked in advertising and communication, where he spent over a decade with the likes of RK Swamy BBDO and Genesis, among others. On television, he was instrumental in launching Channel V in India. He was CEO and Creative Director at Percept Picture Company, where he produced over a dozen box-office hits like Corporate, Malamal Weekly and Page 3. Sahjwani's last assignment was with the Bennett Coleman Group as Chief Creative Consultant, where he was instrumental in revamping Zoom and offering creative insights to Radio Mirchi.
