MUMBAI: Expanding its properties, Big FM has announced the second edition of the ‘Big Marathi Entertainment Awards’, to reward the talent in the regional film industry.

The event will award talent in 16 categories ranging across films, television, theatre and music amongst others. The network has roped in renowned film and theatre personality Bharat Dabholkar and popular actor Vinay Apte as the jury members for the awards.

Apart from the normal judging process by the panel, the event will witness listener engagement through on-air voting polls which will also determine winners.

The awards to be presented by eminent personalities in the Marathi industry will be held in the last week of March in Mumbai.
