MUMBAI: Big CBS Spark will premiere live concert series of legendary Australian band AC/DC for the first time in India.
AC/DC has been shortlisted as the ‘Artist of the month’ and Spark will premier three part series of the concert held at Donington Park in UK on 12 May at 8pm. The series will be part of the show Spark Livewire.
Known for heavy metal sound, the concert witnessed performances of hit tracks like ‘Highway to Hell’, ‘Thunderstruck’, ‘Shoot to Thrill’, ‘Back in Black’ and ‘Fire your Guns’ amongst others.
Formed in 1973 by Angus and Malcolm Young, AC/DC released two albums in Australia before releasing their first international album ‘High Voltage’. In their 36 year career, the band has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. They were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
