Bickram Ghosh's Rhythmscape celebrates a decade of neo fusion music

MUMBAI: Honouring the decade completion of his neo fusion band Rhythmscape, Bickram Ghosh and team will present a collaborative performance with Greg Ellis in Kolkata and Mumbai.

The neo fusion Rhythmscape is one of the longest standing band and has performed extensively all over the world.

The event organized by Sony Music India's independent label Folktronic (A Day 1 initiative) will take place on 12-13 November at ICCR Satyajit Ray Auditorium in Kolkata and Blue Frog in Mumbai respectively.

Rhythmscape's Kolkata performance will be accompanied by highly acclaimed jazz saxophonist, composer and arranger George Brooks, while the Mumbai fans will witness Sujoy Ghosh  and Sonu Niigaam as guest artistes for the show. The act will also features Pulak Sarkar (Keyboards), Ambarish Das (Vocals),   Sumit Ramachandran(Guitarist), Vaidyanathan Suresh (Ghatam).

Speaking on the event, elated Bickram Ghosh said, It's an amazing feeling to celebrate 10 years of togetherness and of creating magic with music along with great musicians and artists. I am proud to be a member of such an amazing band and we are confident that the next 10 years will be as much fun and we together hope to create some more great music...

Celebrating the land mark of 10 years, Bickram Ghosh's Rhythymscape will also release their second album called Transformation.

Folktronic a sub brand of DAY 1 - Sony Music's Independent music initiative, hosts the culture of Indian folk music to the youth and world in a contemporary and accessible manner. Derived from the emerging and growing genre Folktronica, the venture aspires to develop artistes and repertoire with collaborations between folk and new age artistes.
