MUMBAI: The 90’s band Backstreet Boys has announced the return of their former member Kevin Richardson.  The band confirmed the news during their last onstage NKOTBSB UK leg performance.

After 13-years with the band, Richardson quit the Backstreet Boys in June 2006 to pursue "other interests. But he has performed with the group on occasions over the years since then.  In 2010 he composed the soundtrack to animated film The Spirit Bear, after playing small parts in broadway musicals and feature films.

Backstreet Boys has been in pop music for 19 years, the group has sold over 130 million records worldwide. According to Billboard, they are the first group since Sade to have their first seven albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200. The band will soon be recording a new album this summer.
