MUMBAI: After giving a number of chartbusters in India, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam is now working on a fusion project with the members of iconic American band Guns N' Roses.

According to media reports, the album titled The Dreamer Awakes... would see Aslam collaborating with the band's former lead guitarist Slash, Gliby Clarke and Chris Pitman who si a part of the band currently.

Aslam termed the project to be a milestone in his singer career and said that such a collaboration will promote Pakistani culture in the United States.

The pop singer also said that he would like to invite other prominent Pakistani singers and musicians, including those doing classical music, to join hands with him when it came to work with the western musicians.

Aslam has also revealed that the first track of the album is in Punjabi and its music has been composed by the American partners.
