Aryans set sights on Bollywood with new age rock music

MUMBAI: In a music scene cluttered with noisy electronic music, The Aryans has also evolved and moved on from soft melodies to Indie Rock.

After making a mark during the late nineties with the introduction of the Pop/Rock culture, the band has now finalised the date and month for the launch of its new "Rock" meted album.

Sources say the band is venturing into a lot of Bollywood projects, beginning with a groovy composition called "Kyun" in Sanjay Gupta's forthcoming film Woodstock Villa, to be followed by compositions in the next Sanjay Gupta production, and some other big industry names as well.DJ Narian from the band told Radioandmusic.com, "Fans can certainly look forward to our own Hindi rock album within the next three to four months with Aryans donning a new makeover act, this is going to be a rocking album as our following is pan-Indian and includes the non-English speaking population as well."

"It is too early to tell you about our Bollywood ventures as we have just completed with our Bollywood debut music linage, but surely you can see more of our recordings and ventures by the end of this year" adds Narian , "We think that the impact of beats does not last long as trends change in music but our passion for music is unchanged till now which fans can feel in every composition of ours" exults Sadu, Keyboard player of the band.

The band along with the original twosome of Dharmendra Jainarayan, aka DJ Narain and Sadashivam Sharma, aka Sadu has three other members in with Atul on the guitar, Yakub, the lead guitarist and Yunus on the drums forms the Aryans. The band is also credited with a composition that has been selected among dozens as the theme song of the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
